The Amazon Basics 52-inch long cross rail roof rack mounts to most cars, SUVs, or crossovers with raised longitudinal rails. It's important to note that the crossbars are not recommended for cars with closed rails that have no gap between the rail and the car roof, as the clamps may not be able to wrap around the rails securely, posing a potential safety hazard. This includes models like the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC and the 2020 BMW X3.
